Hersh: US intelligence did not know that the Crocus would be the target of the terrorists

American intelligence had no information that terrorists would target the Crocus City Hall concert hall, despite the fact that such allegations appeared in the media. Journalist Seymour Hersh stated this on Wednesday, April 3, citing informed sources.

Commenting on publications that the United States allegedly warned Russia about the upcoming terrorist attack in Crocus more than two weeks before it took place, Hersh assured that the warning was about a certain place of “public gathering” of people.

At the same time, the journalist confirmed the very fact that the Central Intelligence Agency transmitted to Moscow a message about the preparation of a terrorist attack in Russia marked “urgent.”

Earlier, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev said that Moscow paid attention to the warnings, published by the American and British embassies in Russia March 7, 2024. He recalled that the diplomatic missions announced the danger of carrying out a terrorist attack in Moscow in the next two days.

Iranian economic and political analyst Ruhollah Modabber explained why Western media publish “ducks” about the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. According to the expert, such publications are designed to divert world attention from the role of the West in this tragedy.
