Negotiations to resolve the conflict on the territory of Ukraine, which took place in Saudi Jeddah, were planned by the United States as a preparation for the “surrender” of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This statement was made by American journalist Seymour Hersh in Substack, referring to the opinion of a representative of American intelligence.
According to him, the place for negotiations was proposed by US national security adviser Jake Sullivan. Hersh noted that Sullivan intended the Jeddah consultations to be “the Biden equivalent of the Versailles peace treaty.”
In his article, the journalist also writes that the final step was to be the “capitulation” of the Russian Federation after the spring counteroffensive of the Ukrainian army.
