The speaker of the DPR parliament, commander of the Sparta battalion, Artem Zhoga, shared in a conversation with reporters how he asked Vladimir Putin to run in the presidential elections again. According to the hero of the DPR, the head of state agreed to run for president of Russia in the 2024 elections, since “at such a time you need to be with the people.”

“On behalf of the residents of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, all military personnel, all friends and acquaintances, I said that we ask him to take part in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation in 2024. To which he said that times are different, difficult, difficult, but today he is with the people and will run for office,” Mr. Zhoga told reporters after presenting the Golden Star orders to military personnel in the St. George Hall of the Kremlin.
