Hello golden autumn!

On September 30, the main event in the field of the agro-industrial complex, the Week of the agro-industrial complex, started in Russia. The Russian agro-industrial exhibition “Golden Autumn” is held annually by Order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 536-r. dated April 11, 2000 and timed to coincide with the celebration of the Day of the worker in agriculture and processing industry. The exhibition is traditionally organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. Support is provided by the Government of Moscow.

The agro-industrial exhibition “Golden Autumn” is one of the largest and professionally oriented events of the agro-industrial complex of Russia. In 2022, the exhibition will be held for the 24th time, and every year the interest in it is steadily growing. Every year, hundreds of manufacturers from different regions of Russia take part in the event, presenting their products, presentations of modern agricultural machinery, innovative developments and the latest technologies in the field of agro-industrial complex.

“Golden Autumn” is the main agrarian forum of the country, preserving the best traditions of the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition and developing modern technologies for the exhibition business in the field of agro-industrial complex.

As part of the forum, the traditional, hospitable and bright national gastronomic festival “Golden Autumn – 2022” unfolded in the capital. The festival takes place in autumn, when farmers finish harvesting and preparing preparations for the winter, so Golden Autumn is a fair of rich harvests and abundance! In the pavilions of the fair at VDNKh, you can try and buy products from 58 regions of our country. Over 300 agricultural producers brought their best products: dairy, meat and fish products, fruits, vegetables, confectionery, honey and other products – the “visiting cards” of Russian territories. Guests can taste and buy natural products, which are the pride of the regions, and interact with farmers. Particular emphasis in the expositions is placed on high-quality regional brands, whose products are made from local natural raw materials and meet modern environmental requirements.

A real gastronomic journey will not do without tasting: Dagestan mutton jerky with spices, Crimean red mullet, Rostov crayfish, Kamchatka crabs, Belevskaya marshmallow, herbal teas of all varieties, delicious pumpkin soup, duck fillet, supplemented with juniper and sea buckthorn berries, baked vegetables with veal are also waiting delicious food lovers. Farmers are happy to share unique national recipes and the subtleties of their production.

In addition to the “holiday of the belly”, a rich program awaits visitors: master classes in folk crafts, relaxation in the “Country Lounge”, mini-farms with animals, a science town where you can get acquainted with modern agricultural professions and the latest technologies in the field of agro-industrial complex.

Bright autumn flowers, ears of cereals, and, of course, beautiful pumpkins decorate the space. By the way, the largest Russian pumpkin (the fat woman weighs 783 kg, and the “waist” circumference is almost 5 meters), grown by Andrey Gusev, a resident of Lukhovitsy near Moscow, is also here, showing off on soft hay and posing with those who want to be photographed with the autumn queen.
