To increase labor productivity, functions not related to medical activities will be removed from the duties of health workers. This was announced by Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko during a working trip to Adygea.
“Of course, now one of the serious projects is, among other things, increasing labor productivity. It concerns many sections, but one of the blocks is to remove non-medical procedures from the medical worker, which should be handled by call centers and information specialists,” said Mikhail Murashko (quoted from “RIA News”).
For more accessible medicine, according to the minister, the authorities are increasing the number of specialists and optimizing processes in medical institutions, transferring non-core activities of a medical worker to other personnel. “This is a serious, big project that allows the doctor to pay more attention to the patient,” the minister added.
According to Mikhail Murashko, the optimization of the work of medical workers is influenced by the implementation of information systems, the correct organization of registries, routes for patients and even the internal arrangement of offices.
