Head of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov took part in triathlon competitions on July 29

On July 29, the All-Russian duathlon and triathlon competitions began in Sarapul, where athletes arrived not only from Udmurtia, but also from Bashkortostan, Kirov, the Moscow Region and the Krasnodar Territory. More than 200 participants overcame distances by water and land, among them, by the way, was Alexander Brechalov. A funny fact – the head of Udmurtia got the number “18”, denoting our region in the list of subjects of the Russian Federation.
The distance for the triathlon participants was: 750 meters of a swim along the Kama, a 20-kilometer track for a bike and a 5-kilometer run.
The head of Udmurtia was not among the winners, and the first places were taken by:
– “Gold” – Evgeny Baiborodov from the Sarapulsky district, – master of sports of the Russian Federation in triathlon, national champion in 2023 in winter triathlon.
– “Silver” – Vyacheslav Sokolov from Nizhnekamsk.
– “Bronze” – Denis Lekomtsev from Izhevsk.
