How reports The Economist, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, admitted that even if the Ukrainian side wins in the conflict with Russia, it will not end with a march on Red Square in Moscow.
He noted that Kyiv is seriously dependent on external players, while Moscow largely depends on itself. In addition, Kyiv, according to Budanov, is not in the Russian tradition to give up.
“War has been a constant for Russia throughout its history…. We understand that we will not end the war with a victory parade in Moscow. But Moscow should not ever hope to hold such a meeting in Kiev,” he said.
