Vadim Evseev resigned as head coach of the Voronezh football club Fakel, which plays in the Russian Premier League. About it reported club press office. They noted that Mr. Evseev “helped the team maintain a residence permit in the RPL.”
Candidates for the post of new head of the coaching staff in the team have not yet been named.
This is the third major resignation in Fakel over the past year. In September 2022, Oleg Vasilenko left the post of head coach, having held the position for two years. The coaching staff was headed by his assistant Dmitry Pyatibratov, but he stopped working with the team in April 2023. In May, the post was taken by Mr. Evseev.
In the new season of RPL “Fakel” received five defeats, one draw and one victory. The team is on the penultimate, 15th place in the standings.
