Former player of “Zenith” Bystrov called forward Ignatiev “scumbag”
Former Zenit footballer Vladimir Bystrov expressed his opinion on the transition of Ivan Ignatiev from Lokomotiv to Sochi in the Telegram channel.
According to Bystrov, Ignatiev was looking for better conditions for his career after leaving Krasnodar.
He added that “nothing caught a person – only dirt, scandals, parties” and that Ignatiev “was seen everywhere except football.”
He called the transition to Sochi “the last chance for a scumbag.”
Earlier Sunday, Match TV reported that Ignatiev had moved to the Sochi club as a free agent. Last season, Ignatiev played for Lokomotiv, and in the RPL he scored 5 goals and made two assists in 20 matches.
The Russian striker also played for Krylya Sovetov, Rubin and Krasnodar, scoring 57 goals and 11 assists in 164 matches.
The market value of Ignatiev, according to Transfermarkt, is €1.2 million.
