“He was a good hairdresser”: Muhammad Fayzov, detained after the terrorist attack, worked in a barbershop

One of the detained terrorists turned out to be a hairdresser at a barbershop in the Ivanovo region, 19-year-old Muhammad Fayzov. During the arrest, the man was injured. He is in the hospital undergoing surgery.

The director of a men’s beauty salon, Yamina, spoke about the terrorist and complained about bullying.

Since this morning, the barbershop has been inundated with angry messages, and the salon directors’ phones have not stopped ringing.

“They call us all day long, write threats, I’m afraid for my life,” director Yamina Safieva cries. – Fayzov worked for us for a little less than three months. I got a job in November and quit on January 11.

– Did you notice anything suspicious about him?

“We didn’t notice anything suspicious about him.” He was considered a good craftsman; he previously worked in an Ivanovo barbershop. At one time he lived in Ivanovo, then he moved to our small town of Teykovo and got a job with us.

– What else can you say about him?

– We didn’t really know him. He lived alone, there was no family. He didn’t live in poverty, didn’t really need anything. He had an expensive phone, he didn’t infringe on himself. I don’t know what was in the man’s head. I didn’t notice any strange things about him. This morning I woke up and we were inundated with terrible messages, people wishing for death, calling me. I’m pregnant, I don’t know what to do. I’m afraid to go outside. Now we will go to the investigative committee to give evidence.
