There are only a few days left until rapper Vacio is released from prison. He got there for the second time and again out of stupidity, as many of his fans believe. For the first time, Nikolai Vasiliev was arrested because of his participation in a “naked” party. Then the court decided to imprison him for 15 days under the article for petty hooliganism – that same sock in the causal place. He also issued a fine of 200 thousand rubles for LGBT propaganda (recognized as extremist and prohibited in Russia).

And when the performer was already making plans for the New Year holidays, he was unexpectedly imprisoned again. The reason was the rapper’s not entirely adequate behavior. According to information from open sources, after the end of the first arrest, Nikolai Vasiliev was taken to the police station, where they held a conversation, asking about his attitude towards the rest of the party participants. Talking about the girls who pulled off his sock, Nikolai began to swear in his heart. He did not react in any way to the comments to stop this action. In general, the journalists waiting for him in freedom never saw Vacio, because he was again detained by police officers. And the next day, the Lefortovo District Court of Moscow issued a ruling against Nikolai Mikhailovich Vasiliev – to find him guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 2 of Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. This is responsibility for actions involving disobedience to the lawful demand of a government official or other person performing duties to protect public order or suppress a violation of public order. That is, petty hooliganism.

In general, the musician will be released approximately on January 15th. The performer’s defense even filed an appeal against the re-arrest, but the petition did not in any way affect the decision already made.

Interestingly, during the rapper’s stay behind bars, he managed to post a post on his Telegram, where he repented for what he had done and said that he was no longer the same person he was. Bad habits are a thing of the past, and the rapper has taken the path of correction.

“I am still in the cell and dictating this message – I want to tell you this.

In light of recent events, I am often made out to be something I am not. Some are hooked on my past and see me as exactly that – a crazy rapper with a bunch of negative attachments.

But those listeners who have been with me for a long time know very well that a year ago I radically changed my attitude towards life and changed myself. I began to look at many things completely differently… I was able to overcome the addictions that I had once been captivated by and got rid of bad habits. To prove this, the police conducted a drug test and received a negative result,” the rapper said.

He further wrote that he had also changed the vector of his creativity, “in which I am now promoting a healthy lifestyle, trying to convey to the audience that alcohol and drugs are evil. Every day I go towards my goal – to become the best I can be. I develop my personality and go through challenges that build my character.”

Vacio also explained about the sock.

“I admit, at that moment, in pursuit of hype and drive in the crowd, from which I wanted to stand out more than others, I overestimated my capabilities and did not think about how this could be interpreted by the public. But, believe me, I had time to think about it, sitting here in the cell where I spent all the New Year holidays… Yes, I probably went too far. But I want to note that I have never been a supporter of the LGBT community and, of course, I have never promoted them!” Vasiliev concluded.
