The Sochi hockey club completed its participation in the regular season of the Fonbet KHL Championship. The team finished tenth in the Western Conference, missing the playoffs. The club’s head coach Dmitry Kokorev and the club’s deputy general director for hockey operations Alexey Badyukov summed up the preliminary results of the championship.
It is noted that the team is on the right track in terms of its development. At the same time, the club is not happy that the hockey players did not make it to the playoffs.
It is already known that forward Jeremy Bracco will leave the club. He failed to replace Borna Rendulic, who moved to SKA during the season, the club notes. At the same time, defender Jesse Graham and striker Michal Krystof have contracts and will remain in the team.
As for the prospects, the team is trying to develop those players that are on the roster and look at experienced players.
“We can satisfy some requests, but not others.” We would love to step up before the deadline, but our desires do not always coincide with our capabilities,” the club notes.
Previously “MK in Sochi” wrotethat HC Sochi ended the regular season with a defeat.
