HC Siberia dismissed its head coach due to poor results

HC Sibir fired head coach David Nemirovsky due to the team’s unsatisfactory results this season, reports press service club.
“We are categorically not satisfied with the current sports result of Siberia. It is necessary to take prompt measures to get the team out of the crisis while there is still an opportunity to improve the situation,” said Siberia General Director Kirill Fastovsky.
As indicated on the website of HC Sibir, Sergei Krivokrasov was appointed acting head coach of the team, who until 2022 worked as an assistant coach at the Jukurit Mikkeli hockey club of the SM League of Finland.
Along with the head coach, physical training coach David Gutshon, assistant head coach Evgeniy Korolev and video coach-analyst Max Markovich will leave their positions by decision of the club management.
David Nemirovsky has worked at HC Sibir since April 2023, in this position he replaced Andrey Martemyanov.
Based on the results of 40 games, Siberia is in eighth place in the East conference. The team scored 41 points, 17 wins and 23 losses. At the end of November, Sibir lost in a KHL home match, and last week they lost to Lada from Tolyatti.
