On February 3, HC Ryazan-VDV held a home match of the VHL championship – the Silk Road Cup against HC Dynamo-Altai from Barnaul.

The meeting on the ice of the Olympic Sports Palace ended with a score of 2:3 in favor of the guests.

The Ryazan team opened the scoring in the 5th minute – Artem Rozhkovsky scored the puck. At the end of the first period, the guests equalized the score, and at the beginning of the second they successfully sent two goals into the “paratroopers” goal. Neither 2 minutes of numerical advantage, nor the replacement of the goalkeeper in the last minutes of the game helped the home team equalize the score.

“We started well, we spent the first period under our dictation. The goalkeeper and I were wrong today; already in the first period it was clear that we weren’t quite ready. We thought that he would enter the game, but, unfortunately, he couldn’t,” commented the head coach of HC “Ryazan-VDV” Valery Kulibaba on the game.

HC “Ryazan-VDV” occupies 21st place in the standings.
