The final match of the Russian Bandy Championship has ended in Kemerovo. Kemerovo Kuzbass won the title of champion, beating Arkhangelsk Vodnik with a score of 7:6.
Yesterday, March 20, the final of the Russian Bandy Championship took place in Kemerovo. In the final match, the two strongest teams of the season met – Arkhangelsk Vodnik and Kemerovo Kuzbass. Following a tense battle, with a one-point lead, Kuzbass defeated Vodnik with a score of 7:6 and won the Russian champion title for the first time in the club’s history.
This season, Kuzbass has shown impressive results of hard training, reaching the playoffs as the absolute leader of the regular season.
During the final match, Artem Repyakh and Alexander Egorychev scored a double against the opponent. Vladislav Tarasov, Artem Azarov and Simon Jansson also managed to score one goal each.
A collective decision was made by the team and captain to give the man of the match helmet to all team members.
We also remind you that from March 22 to 24 in Kemerovo will pass “Celebration of Russian Hockey”, it will include: a tournament among children’s teams, a tournament among veterans and amateurs, a Super Cup tournament among women’s teams, an open training session for the Russian national team, competitions and an exhibition match with the participation of the strongest hockey players of the Super League. The events will take place at the Kuzbass Ice Palace.
