“Admiral” arrived in Astana with defeat from Traktor in Chelyabinsk. Nevertheless, this did not affect the position in the standings of the Primorsky team – they are still fifth. It is impossible to miss such an advantage, because the “sailors” of Kazakhstan were preparing to fight. Besides the teams have already met in Astana and then “Barys” mocked the “Admiral” plenty by throwing three goals into the gates of Nikita Serebryakov. I wanted a revenge.

The first period turned out to be goalless, neither the hosts nor their guests took advantage of two minutes in the majority. At the beginning of the period, Barys looked more active, but then the Admiral began to gradually seize the initiative. Another thing is that it has not yet resulted in goals. By the end of the twenty-minute period, the hosts again went ahead, but the accuracy of the shots suffered, and where they hit the target, the reliable Nikita Serebryakov came into play.

The second period was much more active. Already on the 26th minute, Yegor Petukhov, having played for rebounds, managed to open the scoring, but then there were two consecutive removals from Barys, and Admiral immediately equalized. Nikolai Eliseev distinguished himself among the sailors. It happened at 29 minutes. Eliseev did not stop there and at the 35th minute for the first time in this match he puts his team ahead. Primorye did not allow themselves to be squeezed out of the opponent’s zone and created very good traffic on the penny.

At the beginning of the third period, Barys could equalize, but the puck could not crawl over the goal line. Here the old hockey rule worked: if you don’t score, you get scored. And the same Nikolai Eliseev did it all, making a hat-trick, and given the very viscous game, it becomes clear that it will be very difficult for the owners to recoup, if at all possible. And so it happened. Five seconds before the final serena, Alexander Gorshkov managed to score in the majority. The result – the victory of “Admiral” with a score of 1:4. The Primorsk team has been gaining points for the eighth match in a row.

– A good match and away series in general. The fourth match was on the road, the guys sacrificed themselves and showed character. We scored four goals, which is rare for us. After the second goal, we played by the score and controlled the game. The bar played for us. Satisfied with the consistency in the team’s game. Nikolai Eliseev is a legionnaire. We hired him to score goals. A hat-trick is normal for a legionnaire. He has the status of another in the team, a lot of playing time in the majority. I don’t want to overextend him. I’m sure he can play even stronger. Let’s assume that Eliseev repays the debt for September, when he underdid the team. “Admiral” for the first time in history gaining points eight games in a row? I did not know about this achievement, I look first of all at the game. We are trying to make a fighting team. The season is very long, so much to play ahead. Today we are pleased that we are showing such a result. But chickens are counted in the spring. This is not enough for me, I have a slightly different bar, – said at a press conference Leonid Tambiev, head coach of HC Admiral.

According to the Barys mentor, his team was let down by discipline.

– We started well. The game was intense, but the discipline failed. There were eight penalty minutes in the second period, and after the first missed puck, there was immediately a second one. It knocked us out a little. And so they played almost three links. We lacked some concentration. We could even the score, there were moments. The guys ran a lot and tried hard, but it was not enough. “Admiral” is a team that knows what it wants and understands how to work to earn points, – emphasized Andrey Skabelka, head coach of HC Barys.

Now “Admiral” returns to Vladivostok where on November 6 he will play with Dynamo Moscow.
