Handball team “Caustic” from Volgograd lost to “Dynamo” Astrakhan

The day before, Volgograd “Caustic” played its last game in 2023. The meeting ended in defeat for the hosts – the score was 31:33 (18:18).
Last Wednesday, December 20, the athletes gathered in the hall of the Molodezhny sports and recreation center in order to hold the reporting match of 2023.
At the beginning of the match, the advantage was secured for the guests, but Daniil Koltsov managed to level the score to 8:8. Then the tense game continued, and at the end of the first half the Volgograd team was in the lead. However, the teams went to the break with the score equal – 18:18.
Fans could not guess until the last minute what the final game would be, as the opponents quickly closed the gap in goals scored. In the last minutes, the Volgograd team responded to 2 accurate shots with a single hit. As a result, the victory went to Dynamo Astrakhan.
