Handball players from Sochi won the FGR Autumn Cup

The girls’ team of the Krasnodar Territory became the winner of the Autumn Cup of the Russian Handball Federation. Competitions with the participation of 6 teams of girls born in 2013 were held in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Sochi handball players led by coach Ruslan Nibo also played for the Krasnodar Territory team.
At the group stage, the Kuban girls confidently took first place, and in the semifinals they beat the Oryol region – 14:4.
And in the decisive match, the team of the Krasnodar region inflicted a major defeat on the Leningrad region with a score of 23:3. The third place went to the Bryansk region.
Kuban team player Sarima Matlayeva became the best point guard of the tournament and the most productive player, with 23 goals. Ruslan Nibo was noted as the best coach of the tournament.
In the boys’ competition, the team from Nizhny Novgorod became the strongest.
A year ago, in the first draw of the Autumn Cup in Novorossiysk, Sochi handball players become third.
