Hamas agrees to phased release of Palestinian prisoners
According to Al Hadath TV channel, the leadership of the Palestinian Islamist political military organization Hamas said that they are ready for the release of Palestinian prisoners by Israel to occur in stages.
“At a recent meeting in Paris, the phased release of Palestinians held in Israeli prisons was discussed as part of a new hostage exchange deal,” the report said.
As the channel notes, it is known that Palestinians sentenced to long terms of imprisonment in Israel will be the last to be released.
