Half of the finalists of the Sakhalin Region Youth Football Championship became known

In the island region, the championship of the region in football among boys under 15 continues. Participants have already determined some of the finalists. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Sakhalin Region.

At the first stage, the contenders for the awards were divided into two subgroups (“North” and “South”), from where the best teams received the green light in the “Final Six”.

The northerners have already finished their mini-tournament, which took place in Nogliki. Here, local football players were opposed by pupils of the sports schools of Poronaysk, Tymovsky, Uglegorsk and Okha.

The team from Poronaysk showed itself brilliantly. She achieved four victories, conceding only one goal (Nogliki – 1:0, Okha – 1:0, Uglegorsk – 2:0, Tymovskoye – 8:1).

The hosts, who showed the most productive game (13 goals scored), were three points behind the leader.

The third place was shared by teams from Okha and Uglegorsk. Between themselves, they played a draw (3:3), synchronously won against Tymovsky, but lost to Poronaysk and Nogliki.

The organizers had to count additional indicators to determine the third prize winner. They became Okhintsy. They, along with Poronaysk and Noglikim, will represent the North zone in the Final Six.

Three more vouchers will be raffled off in the “South” zone. Three teams of OGAU DO “Secondary School “Sakhalin” (“Sakhalin-09”, “Sakhalin-10”, “Sakhalin-11”) play here, as well as “Portovik” from Kholmsk, “Vodnik” from Korsakov, “SSh” (Dolinsk ) and “SSH” from Nevelsk.

So far, the participants have played three matches, each of which ended in defeat.

Sakhalin-09 scored 13 unanswered goals against Vodnik, while Sakhalin-10 defeated Vodnik (6:0) and Portovik (7:0).
