Gymnasts from Stavropol won a whole scattering of medals at the tournament in memory of Natalia Zakharova

The tournament in rhythmic gymnastics in memory of the coach-teacher of the highest category, master of sports of the USSR, judge of the All-Russian and international category Natalya Zakharova ended in Pyatigorsk. The competition brought together more than 250 “artists” from 12 regions of Russia.
Pupils of the Stavropol sports school of the Olympic reserve showed their skill and grace as part of the regional team. The girls won three gold medals at once. As the press service of the administration of the city of Stavropol told, 12 gymnasts of Stavropol became the winners in the individual program.
So, Evelina Frolova, Elizaveta Kholshevnikova, Tamiris Itazova, Veronika Ivanova, Miloslava Meshcheryakova and Ekaterina Karamysheva became the gold medalists. The second place was taken by Ariana Amizova, Milana Svistunova, Sofia Efa and Snezhana Dikan. Anna Fomina and Maria Grinko climbed to the third step of the podium.
