“Gutta-percha” Mongolian woman sets a new Guinness record

Circus Du Soleil performer, plastic acrobat from Mongolia S. Oyuun-Erdene set a new Guinness record by achieving the largest number of push-ups on hands in a triple gymnastic bend.
“She did 28 push-ups in 30 seconds. The previous record was 21 times,” MONTSAME reported.
Girl doing contortion (contortion, contortionism – bending the body into unusual shapes, involves severe contortion and bending of a person’s joints) since the age of six and has been working with the international Circus Du Soleil (Circus of the Sun) for over 20 years.
“I knew that the Cirque Du Soleil performers were very talented, but I was amazed by the flexibility and strength of S. Oyun-Erdene’s upper body,” said Guinness World Records official judge Megan Bruce.
S. Oyun-Erdene participated in four performances of Circus Du Soleil. Now she is performing in a circus show at Albert Hall in London.
