Forecaster Tishkovets: snow, blizzard and up to minus 3 are expected in Moscow on Sunday
In Moscow on Sunday cloudy weather with unstable clearings is expected. Leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, Evgeny Tishkovets, said that there will be short-term snow, a blizzard with deterioration of visibility up to three kilometers, as well as gusty winds.
The synoptic situation in Central Russia today is determined by the rear part of the North Atlantic cyclone, which seems to be loitering far away – across the Barents Sea.
The air temperature in the Russian capital is from zero to minus three, and in the Moscow region – from zero to minus five. “It will get colder in the evening,” the meteorologist added.
The wind in the capital will blow northwest, gusty, with a speed of 5-10 meters per second.
In addition, atmospheric pressure will increase and reach 752 mmHg, which is also not good, since it is higher than normal.
