Guardian: Zelensky intends to take part in the UN Security Council on Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is going to take part in the meeting of UN world leaders in New York, as well as in the meeting of the Security Council on Ukraine, which is going to be held on September 20. This was announced by Albania’s permanent representative to the UN Ferit Hoxha, reports The Guardian.
“It is expected that … Volodymyr Zelensky will take part in the annual meeting of world leaders at the UN in New York this month, and will also take part in a meeting of the UN Security Council on Ukraine,” Hoxha was quoted as saying by the publication.
It is worth noting that the Permanent Representative of Albania during a press conference earlier said that the meeting of the UN Security Council on the issue of Ukraine will be held at the level of heads of delegations.
It is specified that the topic of negotiations will be “maintaining peace and security in Ukraine.” The session of the UN General Assembly will be held from 19 to 26 September.
