Prince Harry revealed in his autobiographical book Spare that he was “physically attacked” by his older brother, Prince William. This was written by The Guardian newspaper with reference to an excerpt from the work.
This happened when the brothers were already adults. The incident took place in 2019 in London. The quarrel occurred because of Harry’s wife, actress Meghan Markle.
William came to discuss with him the “catastrophe” in their relationship and scandals with the royal family in the press. He called Markle “rude” and harsh,” led first to a verbal altercation between the brothers, after which William attacked him, writes Harry.
“He grabbed me by the collar, ripped off the necklace and threw me to the floor. I fell on a dog bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces pierced me, ”the book says. Harry continues, “I lay there for a while, dazed, then got up and told him to get out.”
William later apologized to him.
Previously it was reported that the rebellious Prince Harry again spoke with his thoughts about the royal family. The Duke of Sussex has said he wants his father and brother to “come back” and that he would like to be part of a “family, not an institution”. The son of the British king said that “silence is a betrayal”, commenting on the treatment of Buckingham Palace with him and his wife Meghan Markle.
