Guardian: President Trump believed that Ukraine should be part of the Russian Federation

The British newspaper The Guardian published an excerpt from David Sanger’s book “The New Cold Wars: The Rise of China, the Russian Invasion and America’s Struggle to Defend the West.” It will be available in the US mid-next week. The book provides interesting data about Donald Trump’s attitude towards Ukraine while he was President of the United States.
For his book, Sanger interviewed Fiona Hill, former director for Russia at the US National Security Council. She spoke about the position of the ex-president.
“Trump made it clear that he thought Ukraine and especially Crimea should be part of Russia,” Sanger quoted Hill as saying in his book.
