The head of the Samara branch of Officers of Russia, Arthur Malivanchuk, told AiF that his colleagues from Samara and Kazan also came to say goodbye to Mr. Myasnikov. The solemn farewell took place in the ritual hall on Savelovsky Prospekt.

Mr. Malivanchuk told the newspaper that the GRU colonel “hasn’t left Donbass for two years.” He said that his deceased comrade tried to go there “to restore order.” “Unfortunately, I did not fully fulfill my plans. We will help restore order: those who serve and those who are in reserve,” said the newspaper’s interlocutor.

The press service of Officers of Russia told AiF that the organization is helping the third special forces brigade, where Mr. Myasnikov served. He, together with the veterans of the brigade, sent it a total of 20 tons of humanitarian cargo, including food, medicine and technical equipment.

The military man returned home from Ukraine on leave and was at a concert with his family. The man was hospitalized with three gunshot wounds. Doctors tried to save him for several days, but were unable to.

The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall occurred on March 22. That day, a group of armed men burst into the concert hall. They opened fire on visitors and also started a fire. As a result, 144 people were killed and more than 500 were injured. As part of the criminal case, 11 people were detained, including four alleged terrorists who are citizens of Tajikistan.
