How informs Bloomberg, the former head of the Central Bank of Hungary, Andras Simor, admitted that against the backdrop of the current economic situation, the country may decide to withdraw from the European Union.
According to him, the probability of such a decision in 2022 was only 10%, and at the moment it has increased to 20-30%.
“Hungary’s budget deficit has grown to a record level, we have the highest inflation and key rates in the EU,” Simor explained this prospect.
