Greco-Roman wrestling coach from Sakhalin won silver at competitions in Ryazan

Two representative Greco-Roman wrestling tournaments were held in Ryazan. They brought together more than 300 athletes from 20 regions of Russia, as well as Armenia, Belarus and Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Sakhalin Region reported.
The first were dedicated to the memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union Fyodor Poletaev. All-Russian competitions were held for the fiftieth time. The second tournament is the All-Russian competition among veterans dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day.
Oleg Nakagawa, coach of the Sports School from Aniva, represented the Sakhalin Region in the veterans’ competition. Sakhalin competed in the weight category up to 70 kg. Having won several fights and suffered only one defeat, he became the owner of a silver medal.
