The Kaliningrad Greco-Roman wrestler became a four-time Russian champion. The national championship in one of the three types of wrestling was held in the Moscow region.
According to the press service of the government of the Kaliningrad region, 2021 Olympic champion Musa Evloev became the leader in the weight category “up to 97 kilograms”. In total, 36 more athletes took part in this weight category, in addition to the Kaliningrad wrestler.
The victory will allow Evloev to compete in international tournaments, as he has now qualified for the Russian national team.
