In the exercise with ribbon and clubs, she was the first. Lala Kramarenko could not stand it and was blown away, as they say. Although she rose to first place in the all-around from fourth, this is still an Olympic discipline. But Dina didn’t get blown away and was the best again today, ”the head coach of the national team Irina Viner commented on the results of the competition at the Gymnastics Palace to reporters.

The temple of rhythmic gymnastics, filled almost to the limit, enthusiastically and appreciated the participants of the tournament from the Grand Prix series and Alina Kabaeva’s Champions Cup. The eternal confrontation between the artist Averin and Kramarenko continued, which the audience was incredibly happy about.

Dina (Arina did not compete due to injury) Averina went through the competitive path almost perfectly, but in the all-around she became only the second – her friend-rival Lala Kramarenko was ahead of her. The winner ascended to the top step of the podium due to the complexity of the elements. Information about the athlete’s injury spread only after the end of the competition.

Dina set the hall on fire with her Bolero when she performed the final pose from Kamila Valieva’s free program of the Olympic season. In exercises with clubs, Averina chose the same composition, and it was grandiose in execution and impeccable in technique.

Third place in the all-around, due to a couple of mistakes, was taken by Anna Popova, the absolute champion of Russia in 2023. But on the final day of the competition, everyone started from scratch – in each event, all three gymnasts fought to the maximum, with great desire and dedication.

In the finals with individual types, Averina won twice: in exercises with clubs and ribbon, and in the ball, Dina became the second. Her programs were incredibly complex and artistically verified – which became the main thing on the way to success. Lana Kramarenko lost items in two types, which was the reason for only the third place. Anna Popova won in the ball, Maria Borisova won in the hoop.

Dina Averina, Lala Kramarenko, Anna Popova, together with Maria Borisova and Anastasia Guzenkova, competed at the Grand Prix under international rules. Other Russian gymnasts participated in the Champions Cup and showed exercises according to national regulations.

The competitions ended after four intense days of wrestling with the performance of gymnasts at a gala concert to the accompaniment of a real orchestra.
