Graduates in 2024 will have the right to retake the Unified State Exam in one subject before the end of the admission process at universities, said the head of Rosobrnadzor Anzor Muzaev “Interfax”. The graduate’s first result will be canceled immediately after the retake. There will be no opportunity to choose the best option, the head of Rosobrnadzor added.
“This year the regulatory framework is being prepared. If for some reason a graduate does not agree with his result, he will have the right to retake one of the subjects,” he said.
Mr. Muzaev added that work on changing the procedure for taking the Unified State Exam and the schedule will be completed in the next couple of months, and starting in July, graduates will be able to take advantage of the right to retake it.
With the initiative to allow retaking the Unified State Exam in one of the subjects spoke Russian President Vladimir Putin as part of his address to the Federal Assembly. He explained his proposal by saying that the exam still needs improvement.
