The head of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that schoolchildren from the Shebekinsky urban district, which came under fire today, would not take the exam. The governor said that he had reported to President Vladimir Putin about the situation on the border.
“Now a mechanism is being worked out that will allow children from the Shebekinsky district to enter universities without exams,” the governor wrote in Telegram.
Due to the increased shelling of the border areas of the Belgorod region by Ukraine, the school year ended ahead of schedule in the region. Yesterday children from Shebekinsky urban district started export to other regions for summer holidays. Recently, massive shelling has led to the death of several residents of the district and injuries. Among wounded there are teenagers.
