Gozman became a defendant in a criminal case under an article about fakes against the Russian army

Employees of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case against opposition politician and public figure Leonid Gozman (included by the Ministry of Justice in the list of foreign media agents). As TASS reports, he is charged under Part 2 of Art. 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – public dissemination of fakes that cause hatred or enmity on political, ideological, racial, national or religious grounds.
The case was opened after Gozman posted distorted statements on social networks about the leadership of the Russian Federation and the Russian Armed Forces. In this criminal case, sanctions are provided in the form of imprisonment for a period of five to ten years.
It is noted that the materials published by Gozman on the Internet were subjected to a comprehensive psychological and linguistic study, as a result of which a deliberate distortion of information about the progress of a special military operation was revealed.
Let us remind you that Gozman was arrested on August 30, 2022 for 15 days in another administrative case related to the identification of the USSR with Nazi Germany. The court subsequently found him guilty of committing an administrative offense.
