In the Amur Region, the federal school overhaul program initiated by the United Russia party and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation can now be seen in action. As previously reported, over the next few years, more than 70 Amur educational organizations will be put in order within the framework of the federal project.
“The overhaul of the school started in the city of Zeya. Dismantling works are being actively carried out in the educational organization No. 4. In two years – 2022 and 2023 – all communications, roofing, interior decoration will be updated there, – commented the Governor of the Amur Region Vasily Orlov. – The significance of the federal program for the overhaul of schools is of great importance. Due to climatic conditions, the large territorial extent between settlements and the limited capacity of contracting construction organizations in the Far Eastern regions, including the Amur Region, it is impossible to build new educational organizations at a rapid pace. Therefore, the modernization program is a great help in creating modern and, most importantly, safe conditions for children in schools.”
Zeya School No. 4 was built in 1972. Since that time, there have never been major updates here. In total, about 700 schoolchildren study at the institution. While work is going on, the students will be transferred to another large school in the city – No. 5.
