The head of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, posted photos from the construction site of the so-called notch line on the border with Ukraine. They appeared in his Telegram-channel.
“The working day began with an inspection of the construction of the security line with my deputy Vladimir Bazarov,” the governor said in a messenger.
Previously Gladkov said at a press conference that the region is preparing for various options. Since April, he has been actively engaged in strengthening the borders. The decision was made, in particular, because of the shelling from Ukraine.
At the same time, work is underway to build a system for alerting the population about shelling.
