Governor Gladkov reported on the wounding of a woman during the shelling of the village of Nizhny Olshanets

A resident of the village of Nizhny Olshanets near Belgorod was injured as a result of shelling of the settlement, she received shrapnel wounds to her legs, informed Governor of the Belgorod region in his Telegram channel.

“As a result of the shelling of the village of Nizhny Olshanets, there is one victim with shrapnel wounds to the lower extremities. Ambulance teams went to the place, ”Gladkov wrote.

The head of the region also said that six private households were damaged during the shelling. The city of Shebekino came under fire a day earlier, one person was injured, authorities said.

Since the beginning of the special operation, the Ukrainian military has been regularly shelling the border regions of Russia. Since the beginning of this week, shelling of settlements in the Belgorod region has become more frequent – since November 14, Gladkov has been reporting attacks daily. In particular, on November 15, two residents of the city of Shebekino were killed as a result of shelling, and three more were injured. On the same day, it became known about one more dead and one injured due to a downed Ukrainian missile. On November 17, the authorities of the region reported another shelling of Shebekino by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a girl was seriously wounded. The next day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) shelled the village of Ustinka in the Belgorod district of the Belgorod region, killing an 80-year-old man, Gladkov reported.

Since April 11, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat has been in effect in the Belgorod region. On November 6, the authorities of the region extended this regime until November 21. Also on October 19, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response was introduced in the region.
