The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, visited the site of night shelling in the regional capital and posted photographs on Telegram. The photo shows damaged facades of residential buildings and cars, broken windows and glass.
“The main blow fell on the parking lot next to the house (on Makarenko Street.— “Ъ”),” writes the governor of the Belgorod region in his Telegram channel. After a shell explosion on the street, the facade of a residential building was damaged: windows and glass on apartment balconies were broken. In another area of the explosions, Pochtovaya Street, cars were also damaged, one of them was overturned by the shock wave.
“Now I’m leaving for an operational meeting with the heads, deputies and contractors. We will make a decision on the further algorithm of actions in connection with the growing volume of destruction in the city,” said Mr. Gladkov.
December 30th was committed the largest raid by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Russian territory in terms of the number of casualties, injuries and destruction. In Belgorod, as a result of rocket explosions, according to the latest data, 25 people were killed and more than 100 were injured.
