Government reserve fund increased by 154.5 billion rubles

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order to increase the reserve fund of the country’s government by more than 154.5 billion rubles. Document published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
The Ministry of Finance was instructed to increase the reserve fund at the expense of unused balances of federal budget funds in 2022, including 3.7 billion rubles, which were previously provided for targeted subsidies to the regions.
The government reserve fund was created to finance unforeseen expenses and measures of federal significance that are not provided for in the law on the federal budget. The expenditures of the federal budget of Russia in 2023 are provided at the level of 29.056 trillion rubles, revenues – at 26.13 trillion rubles.
