Government bans grants to musicians involved in extremism

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed resolutionwho were banned from issuing grants to artists, theater and music groups if there is information about their involvement in extremist activities.
Paragraph 13 of the rules for the distribution of federal grants was supplemented with a subparagraph, from which it follows that grants will not be issued to groups and artists if they are on the list of persons in respect of whom there is information about their involvement in extremist activities or terrorism.
Now in list Rosfinmonitoring 12.7 thousand individuals and 538 organizations.
The government decree also updated the requirements for grant applicants. A team applying for a subsidy cannot have a foreign registration. The organization should not be in the process of liquidation or bankruptcy, it cannot have debts for taxes and fines.
