Google plans to link Android devices like Apple – Kommersant

The American corporation Google is considering the possibility of synchronization of Android devices in the spirit of the Continuity function in the Apple ecosystem. About it informs The Verge, citing an insider.
With the new feature, users will be able to switch between calls from one device to another (including multiple smartphones), as well as share the Internet through a hotspot in an easier way. Apple devices also have cross-device call acceptance, but users cannot start a call on one iPhone and continue on another. Android devices will be able to communicate with each other if they are logged into the same account. Users will need to manually link devices through the OS settings under Devices and Sharing.
Previously, the services “Google Docs” and “Google Drive” became support electronic signature function. The new feature is currently in beta for some Google Workspace users.
