Google as part of a large-scale presentation of new products Made by Google introduced its first smart watch, the Pixel Watch. Orders are already open. The Wi-Fi watch will cost $350, while the 4G version will cost $400. Deliveries of the accessory will begin on October 13.
The novelty, made in a 41-mm steel case, is equipped with a round AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 5 protective glass. The screen, the resolution of which is not specified, supports the Always-On Display function. The Wear OS by Google watch is powered by the Exynos 9110 chip, paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, and a 294mAh battery provides up to 24 hours of use on a single charge.
There is an NFC module for contactless payments via Google Wallet, as well as the ability to connect Pixel Buds wireless headphones to listen to music. Two versions of the watch will enter the market – with Wi-Fi or with the ability to work with 4G cellular networks. Integration with sports offers and music streaming services is supported. The watch features health monitoring and fitness tracking functions, which use the achievements of Fitbit.
