American corporation Google updated your Gmail and provided users with a simplified way to unsubscribe from annoying mailings. PC users will now see the Unsubscribe option when hovering over emails rather than after opening them.

In iOS and Android apps, the unsubscribe feature will be at the top of open emails and will not require the user to go to the settings menu. When reporting spam, you will no longer be offered the option to “Report spam and unsubscribe” – instead there will only be an option to unsubscribe. This is done so as not to affect the reputation of the sender if the user subscribed to him by mistake or after some time wanted to unsubscribe from him.

Previously scientists from the University of Leipzig found out, that the quality of Google search may have deteriorated due to the fact that more and more articles on the Internet are optimized for search engines. Also Google added to its “Maps” service a navigation function in tunnels – the innovation is currently only available for users of Android devices and will allow you to track Bluetooth beacons in places with weak GPS coverage.
