Golikova revealed details of the national project “Personnel” – Kommersant

Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that as part of the implementation of the national project “Personnel,” the educational infrastructure in Russia will change. The Deputy Prime Minister stated this during the plenary session “Labor Market: Job Seeker Opportunities and Employer Challenges” at the regional stage of the All-Russian Employment Fair at the Russia Forum and Exhibition.

“The national project “Personnel” will be accompanied not only by a forecast (on personnel needs.— “Ъ”) and the response to this forecast from education and retraining of personnel, this is also a qualitative change in the education infrastructure,” said Mrs. Golikova, whose words are quoted press service Ministry of Labor.

According to her, the national project is designed to create a system that will allow the educational institute to quickly respond to forecasts of the needs of the economy and its capabilities, as well as to quickly respond to the current situation in the labor market. “In fact, make a digital connection so that we can quickly respond to the situation, quickly change educational programs and build admission targets so that they meet the needs of the labor market,” said Tatyana Golikova.

The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that the government found out the personnel needs of 84 thousand Russian enterprises, which employ over 12 million people, in order to determine which professional qualifications the demand is most significant for. Also within the framework of the project, large-scale modernization of educational institutions and dormitories is planned.

“In higher education, this is the continuation of the creation of engineering schools, campuses, renovation of hostels. Within the framework of secondary education, this is a continuation of the flagship project “Professionality” with the modernization of the corresponding infrastructure of those vocational schools and hostels that take part in this project,” said Tatyana Golikova.

The national project “Personnel”, announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his address to the Federal Assembly, is planned to be launched on January 1, 2025. During 2024, the Russian government must formulate the structure of the upcoming work.
