Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, following a meeting of an interdepartmental working group to respond to the situation on the labor market, said that the number of registered unemployed in Russia is 489,000 people.
According to Golikova, the number of unemployed people registered in employment centers in Russia is 489,000. At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that the database of vacancies on the Job of Russia portal includes about 1.85 million offers for job seekers.
It is noted that on August 21, Golikova’s office reported that the number of unemployed Russians is estimated at 493,000 people.
Rosstat data shows that unemployment in the Russian Federation has once again updated its historical low, falling to 3.1% in June this year after a figure of 3.2% was recorded in May.
