Going to bed early can lead to premature death

A study by the University of Oxford has shown that the prevailing belief about the need to go to bed early and wake up early leads not to better health and well-being, but to deterioration. Moreover, it can cause premature death. However, as follows from the publication of the European Heart Journal Digital Health, going to bed late is also highly undesirable.
Some may go to bed at 20 or 21 o’clock in order to get up at five o’clock in the morning the next day. But as it turned out, such an early going to bed increases the risk of developing serious cardiovascular diseases and, accordingly, premature death. As the study shows, the probability increases by 9%. Those who go to bed too late – after midnight – the risk of premature death also increases.
The lowest risk score was for those who went to bed at 22-23 pm. Thus, this time can be considered ideal for going to bed.
