In an interview with the Match TV channel, the goalkeeper said that when signing the contract, he did not prioritize salary, because the money offered turned out to be much less than he could have received at Rubin. The decisive factor was that he wanted to go on the field and not sit on the bench, as was the case in the Kazan club.
– I have already been convinced many times that happiness does not come from money. For me, the most important thing is to play, and money has never been a priority for me,” said Alexander Belenov.
