Gladkov reported two shot down targets over the Belgorod region

The Russian air defense system (AD) shot down two targets in the air over the village of Pushkarnoye in the Belgorod region. This was announced by the Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

“Our air defense system worked in the Belgorod region – 2 air targets were shot down near the village of Pushkarnoye. Operational services clarify information about the consequences on the ground. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or damage,” wrote he is in his Telegram channel.

The day before, on August 13, the Ministry of Defense reported three downed drones over the Belgorod region, the fourth drone was intercepted around 22.00 Moscow time.

In addition, on August 13, one drone flew in in an apartment building in Belgorod. There was an explosion, as a result of which the building and cars parked below were damaged. Restoration work will begin on August 14. Earlier today Gladkov clarifiedthat a 10-year-old girl was injured due to a drone crash in Belgorod. She was taken to the hospital, the condition of the child is assessed as satisfactory.

The Belgorod region is regularly shelled by Ukraine. A high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat operates in the region indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the average level of response has been set in the region.
