Gladkov held a meeting of the operational headquarters due to the shelling of Belgorod

The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that today, December 31, in the evening he held a meeting of the operational headquarters. At the meeting, they discussed a plan to eliminate the consequences of the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the center of Belgorod yesterday, December 30, which killed 24 people and injured 108 more.

In the message, published Governor on Telegram, several major decisions are given. Firstly, the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will quickly issue documents that citizens lost during the shelling. A telephone number is provided that you can call to restore documents: 8-999-421-67-49 – this is the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Secondly, regional construction companies will take measurements and, from January 2, will begin to manufacture and install windows to replace those knocked out during shelling. In parallel, work will be carried out to restore the facades. Thirdly, the authorities began working with entrepreneurs and owners of damaged buildings. “We will definitely help restore the former appearance of the center of our city,” the governor wrote.

Fourthly, an examination will soon be carried out to restore the damaged personal transport of citizens. “This work will mainly begin after the New Year holidays. I hope that within two to three weeks we will make all payments to residents,” wrote Mr. Gladkov.

At the end of the message, the governor said that a special flight of the Ministry of Emergency Situations sent to Moscow the parents of children who were seriously injured and brought to the capital earlier (such as reported previously, six). According to Mr. Gladkov, the head of the Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, promised to help these parents with accommodation near the medical center where children are provided with care. “I repeat: all operations and medications for the victims will be paid for by the state; there is no need to spend money on this,” added the head of the region.

“We see the number of requests received from residents from all over the country who want to provide all possible assistance to all the victims, thanks to everyone who cares! The Belgorod region feels the support of our entire huge country!” – Mr. Gladkov added and left requisites Fund for the support of military personnel and their families.
