Gladkov: evacuated residents of Shebekino will be exempted from paying utility bills

Residents evacuated from Shebekino from June 1 will be exempt from utility bills until they return home. This was announced by the Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
“It has already been decided that from June 1 until the full return of residents, utility bills will not be a burden on people. That is, we will take these questions upon ourselves,” wrote he is in his Telegram channel.
Gladkov noted that other issues related to “the possibility of obtaining some additional assistance from the state” are also on the agenda, and expressed hope for the support of the Russian government. He noted that now the authorities individually “solve the problems of each person.”
The governor said that the number of shellings of Shebekino over the past day has “significantly decreased” compared to the previous day. At the same time, the situation in the city remains dangerous, he added. Gladkov noted that evacuees will continue to be relocated from temporary accommodation centers (TACs) to university and college dormitories.
At the end of May, shelling of the territory of the Belgorod region by the Armed Forces of Ukraine became more frequent. In this regard, Gladkov announced on the evacuation of children from the Shebekinsky and Grayvoronsky districts. On May 31, the first 300 children left for Voronezh. On June 1, another 200 people were transferred to Penza. Today, June 3, 300 children go on summer holidays to Kaluga, another 300 – to Yaroslavl, the governor specified.
